A majestic historical landmark that captivates visitors with its grandeur and rich heritage, Nahargarh fort is one of the famous trio of Jaipur forts, the others being Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort.
It has served as a formidable defence structure in that past standing atop the Aravalli Hills, offering breathtaking views of the Jaipur City.
Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala, and is home to the erstwhile Travancore kingdom. It is not a massive tourism magnate like the biggest city of the state Kochi, however it does boast of some truly amazing things that needs to be explored and experienced. In no particular order, here are my top 5 experiences in and around the city.
Unmatched natural beauty, breathtaking vistas and friendly people are some features which are common to many himlayan towns, but Gangtok, the Capital of Sikkim, has much more to offer besides just Nature’s bounty. This wooden palace manages to amuse many travelers from accross the globe, with the fine carvings that can be seen in the form of murals, floral engravings, and immaculate artwork.
Blue sky, merky backwaters, a sandy beach, an estuary, endless rows of coconut trees, mangrooves, boat, birds and us. This is Poovar lake, a nature lovers delight, lost somewhere near the tip of South India, tucked in Gods own country , Kerala.
Boasting of breathtaking views, gorgeous Buddha statue, peaceful monastery, and enchanting prayer flags, Happy Valley has been an overlooked destination for many who visit Mussorie. It however is one of the most tranquil locations one would find in the whole hill station providing for uninterupted views of the Himalayas.
Every nook and corner of the palace provides for some amazing sights. Might not be as majestic or carried the great old world charm as some other amazing fort and palaces of Jaipur,, but this has a place of its own. It deserves to be much higher on the must do list in Jaipur.
Amber fort is the pride of Jaipur, adorned with the magnificent Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The fort is a testament to the glorious past India has.
Mirik is a small town in the Darjeeling district which has a beautiful lake and boundless tea estates. It is however the road to Mirik that makes the journey worth.
