Neermahal in Tripura stands on a island in the mighty Rudrasagar Lake. It is an extremely gorgeous palace that has for long been overlooked by tourists. The palace is the second largest lake palace in India, however the dearth of exposure this magnificent peice of architecture has faced is nothing short of unfortunate.

Sadly however, it’s capital city Dehradun always been considered a stop over, despite housing some amazing offerings, that more than qualifies Dehradun to be seen as an independent travel destination.
A 12th century temple perched atop a 2239 ft hill, provides for a perfect weekend gateaway, taking one close to both god and nature. The drive through the winding serpentine roads, hike through a forest and enchanting wood work makes the destination a crowning glory for Dhenkanal, Odisha
