A remnant of the Nawabi times of India, Hazarduari Palace is the most prominent landmark of Murshidabad, West Bengal. This monument and the town itself is like a time capsule, that transports anyone visiting this place to it’s glorious past, when this palace used to be the centre of the whole Bengal Province.
Bhubaneswar is known as the temple city of India, owing to the vast number of temples the city boasts of. While exploring the Temples however, tourists and pilgrims alike, visit only the Lingaraj Temple complex, missing out on the other beautiful and intriguing temples lurking just a few Kilometres away.
Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala, and is home to the erstwhile Travancore kingdom. It is not a massive tourism magnate like the biggest city of the state Kochi, however it does boast of some truly amazing things that needs to be explored and experienced. A sanctuary for the crocodiles, this National park, is both beautiful and wild, making the whole trip an unforgettable experience.

Gurudongmar Lake in North Sikkim is part of any travel bugs bucket list. The 6 hours long journey from Lachen to the Lake is an experience in itself, moving through snow capped mountains, high passes and beautiful valleys. It also involves some really taste food.

The Odisha Maritime Museum, is a repurposed colonial structure, that during the British rule acted as a maritime workshop for inland water communication of the Bengal Presidency (state of Bengal, Odisha and Bihar). Built in 1867, this building now houses, more than 10 galleries showcasing the rich maritime history of the state.
Perched at 14000 ft above sea level, “Dosa By The Way”, in Thangu, Sikkim; is the highest dosa point in the world. Operated by the Indian Army’s Madrass regiment, this place serves delicious Mysore Masala Dosa and few other lip smacking delicacies round the year, sometimes in sub zero temperatures.
